Hmmm… good point. Think I found the problem. Turning off comments after 14 days sounds like a good idea, but not if one isn’t going to keep on top of things. Changed it to 90 days. Should be good now.

Doesn’t appear to be on your end. But not sure why it’s on mine. The blog setting allow comments… obviously, since we’re commenting, plus I checked anyway, just to be sure.
I’m looking at “Diet” right now and it says “Comments Closed”, and in the edit screen for the same post, the “Allow Comments” box is checked.
Let me screw with it for a while, you little minx, and I’ll get back to it.

Actually, I think I’ve figured out the problem. When you go to my blog, normally what you get first is the splash page, as opposed to the most recent post. Looks like you “Liked” the page entitled “I ASSURE YOU WE’RE OPEN!” (and I take it you get the reference…)
That’s the splash page. I disabled comments because I kept getting them there, and it wasn’t a post.

You’re welcome. Check under settings — it seems like it may be set for comment periods to have an expiration date. Sometimes, the ingenious internet is quite daft.
